my foot falls aleep

I was n a car accident a couple of weeks ago in which we were rear ended. I had a little bit of back pain but it subsided after a few days. Well I didn't go see a doctor because I didn't want to make a medical claim since my back wasn't hurting so much anymore. Well, the last couple days, my right foot keeps going to sleep. I'll move it around and walk on it and it will be ok, but then it will fall asleep again. Could these be cuz of my back?
