Had you sister been out of the country prior to her experiencing these symptoms?

Has she been to seek a consult with an Infectious Disease specialist?

My sister has not been out of the country. And yes she has seen a specialist..In fact she has 5 on her case. In addition to what I have told you she also gets the chills so bad that she shakes uncontrollably. Sometimes it lasts for a long time. She is about to give up and this is scarey.
I might add that these physicians are connected with a reputable hospital.   Thank you

I had to go to a memorial ceremony yesterday. Once I begin to answer the question, no one else will "touch" the question not unless you relist the question.

You do not have to accept any answer that you are not satified with. As I mentioned, you can certainly relist to ascertain if anyone else has any input or suggestions.

Often, it takes more than a few days to sort out all the questions and provide suggestions on how to proceed next.

Has CHF (congestive heart failure) been ruled out? Thatwill cause leg swellimg. Additionally, has she seen a nephrologist (kidney specialist) Often leg swelling and rashes can also be contributed to kidney conditions.

Hello... I hope I didn't seem rude in my reply. It was not intended that way. I appoligize if I did. My sister has seen and is seeing a heart Dr. She also has been ruled out in the kidney area. Had a bone marrow test too. And her liver biopsy turned out negative. She continues to itch and scratch most of the day and night. Awful swelling everywhere, and, her face is still peeling. All Dr.s involved are absolutely baffled. I am hoping that I can shed some light on her condition. She has suffered for so long now. All we want are answers and no one can seem to come up with any. Thank you again

When a condition is so baffling,I would suggest a hospital that is use to hard cases, either mayo clinic, or national institute of health,john hopkins at bethseda maryland,You can call them explain the problem,perhaps they are doing research on such a case as your sisters,I know what youre going thru,13 yrs ago my younger sister died from stomach cancer and I still called every research in sloan ketterings doctors around the world,even though they couldnt help many out of the country doctors actually got on the phone which i was thankful for because at least I know i tried everything.You tell your sister she has got to fight,Im in the same situation,since taking a trial of the date rape drug for my narcolepsy,i bled in the brain,its been 3 yrs and im left with severe head burning,I have one neurologist who believes it was from the drug,I signed a release so i cant sue,but the comjpany doesnt want to know me because now the drug is approved.All I want them is to alert people that xyrem can cause bleedng in the brain and the worse cse of occipital neuralgia.You cant give up for your sister,where there is light there is always hope,give john hopkins a call,their number is3014964000.Also you might consider its what they call medical brokers,i dont know what your finances are,they are people who literally search for you,but its mostly homeopathic1-818-907-5483, and lastly stanford university at415-723-2300.go to this below

I want to thank you so much for the time you have spent in answering my notes. And truly sorry and sympathic to you. I myself spent almost 30 years in an abusive relationship (verbaly, mentally, and physically) And tried for years to get out. Finally did but am left for the rest of my life with problems too. Thank God not as extreme as you. My head problems are from too many blows to the head. But, I will continue to try and help her. She is so discouraged at this point.
