I had a complete Hysterectamy, and have a compermized immune
system, it was a 3 and half hour sugery, half hour of surgery stoped, because they wanted to see why I was so dehydrated, they suspected cancer, non found. I had surgery on April 12, and was released April 15, day before
Easter, I was surprised that I was being released so soon, as I was told I had to be able to do three things before being released, One of which was done, I walked twice down the small hall & back to my room. I was released with 10 days of pain meds, and had to fight for two more days worth(I do not have a Drug problem), She had me buy Lavender oil??? Finally went to my GP 14 days ago, who gladly covered my pain meds. I have had non stop pain, in one spot sense surgery, lower left adom., can't spell it, sorry, and ongoing pain, below the belly and across, one night it was so servere I thought I was going to Die, but did not want to go back to that hospital, we live in a small town and the ongoing joke when I worked there for 7 years was you did not go there unless you had a cold or wanted to DIE. I called the surgery doc., every time I had unbearable pain, and kept her well informed. I also have burning, between the admo., and pelvic to upper leg area, Diarria, bloating, and the pain meds only make life bearable, but the pain is never gone. When I talked to my GP, he said I had a test done on the wound, that was suppose to drain, which I mention it never drain anything onto my cloths, ect, and took 5 weeks to close up. He said the test came back with Staph/ecolia from this wound. For got to mention fever twice sense surgery. So I call the surgeon two days ago, She said everyone has Staph/Ecolia. Excuse me but I Scared, I know I have an infection, but she insist I have scar tessue. Isn't there a way to follow up to make sure I don't have either of those in my system, I was told only by reopening me back up???? I have Hept C., from Blood recieved at same hospital in 82, survived the newer interferon treatment for a year in o2-o3, my Liver is in good shape, never been a drinker, ect. Is there an antibiotic that I can ask my GP for, by 5pm west coast time. I have asked my husband to take me to the hospital 45 miles away, to a medical center in the city, if I have another severe, very severe attack, like I had two weeks ago today, please forgive my spelling, not thinking to well, tierd of all the excuses for an ongoing situation sense release from hospital, I was even told with the first fever I had a 24 hour bug??? She never mentioned the infection on test and recent labs, she says were fine. I walk (Around the house, eat and drink fluids. I'm not laying on the couch, waiting to Die. Also my red blood cells are one point away from Danger, whatever that means, via the labs done by my GP. I'm Scared and it takes a hell of a lot to scare me, please help me.
