I apologize, I am having a computer glitch of sorts.

The treatment options vary somewhat, dependant on in-depth medical assessment and goals.

Chemotherapy in varying combinations may be expected.

Radiation treatments

Surgical resection depending on the area of liver involved, and non-liver mets.

Localized treatment options, such as ablation.

Hormonal treatment and/or Immunotherapy may be other options offered

The liver infusion to which you refer is probably: hepatic artery infusion chemotherapy.
A pump is implanted to deliver chemotherapeutic medication directly to the site of the tumor. The early studies showed limited use in breast to liver mets. New/Different mediactions are being tested at this time however.

Is an excellent site which tracks the newest treatment options of liver mets, (including primary breast to liver)
and their outcomes. This will be a good place for you to begin weighing your options, setting goals and writing a list of questions to be used when discussing your personal treatment options with your Physician.

http://www.clinicaltrials.gov/

Will take you the searchable database of current clinical trials, including those recruiting patients. Searching breast liver mets rtetrieves 6 studies, the following three seemed to relate to your stage of disease, treatment, age etc.

NCT00301106
NCT00001880
NCT00002854

You may search using different variables as well. A printout of the studies which you are interested in reviewing with your Physician should be with your list of questions etc.

Please reply if there is more information I can supply, or part of my answer I may clarify for you. Otherwise, I wish you the best, and hope you will keep in touch with future questions and updates on your health.
