Question

gyn problem

Sent to Health Experts July 24, 2006 2:49 p.m.

i hope someone can help me figure out medical finding on a recent ultrasund
i've had gyn problems for 9 1/2 yrs...i've had laprocopies, laprotomy's , c-section and had a partial hystertomy (uterus taken out ),
i've had problems dealing with scar tissue, adhesions and cysts mostly on the left side.

my left ovary was enlarged measuring 4.3 cm X 2.9 cm X 4.3 cm. there is a small amount of fluid adjacent to the ovary ....there is a small simple cyst in the left ovary measuring 1.9cm X 1.5 cm....there is also a cyst with increased echoes and some
septations as well as multiples small mural noduls.
the complex cyst measures 3 cm X 2.1 cm X 2.1 cm..
previous ultrasound in the beginning of may the results were that there was a 6cm cyst inside the ovary

this ultrasound is a lot diffrent the past ultrasounds, the currant report states a few things, there is a 1.9 cm simple cyst in the left ovary and a 3 cm complex cyst with interenal echoes, septayions and small mural nodules.
this may represent hemorrhagic cyst, other cystic mass in the ovary cannot be entirely.

they also drew blood i think it was ca-125....they told me it was a blood test for ovaryian cancer.
i have a follow up ultrasound appp in a month

anything you could tell would help to understand
thank you
