Reply to 4ren6's Post: No not bi polar. There is a 16 year old male who has for the past four years had loss of function in his limbs that restores itself. The seizures trigger this lathargy in the muscles.
Recently he was diagnosed with biocular disorder, that is associated with the eyes. I am trying to collect as much info as I can.

Are you absolutely sure of this diagnosis. I know of no medical condition of the eyes called bi ocular that would cause these symptoms. Is it perhaps a word that he used in the comment of the condition and not the medical term. As binocular does apply to the eyes and how we see but is not a medical condition that would cause what your describing. Can you offer anything else for me to go on...........

Let me have some other experts take a look at this for you and see if they may be familar with it. We have some MD's online and Nurse's. I am thinking of Bi-polar. Will have someone else take a look and post for you.
