You may have an open mandibular fracture.

I recommend you make an appointment to be examined and treated by an oral-maxillofacial surgeon. Definitive treatment of mandibular fractures is performed by an oral-maxillofacial surgeon (or an ENT specialist).

A panorama view X-ray of your mandible will show your entire mandible in one view. A CAT scan is also helpful. Most mandibular fractures are open because they are between the teeth and the gums.
