However, since I have changed my diet I have these periods late at night when my stomach starts to hurt really really bad, I mean my legs will be shaking because I am in so much pain, I have a bowel movement and it has alot, alot of blood. the water will be dark red. Hello,

This would not be related to the change in diet and would be considered coincidental; however, it is very important for you to make an appointment with a colorectal specialist or gastroenterologist (stomach specialist) as soon as possible for an exam and accurate diagnosis.

You may have an anal fissure, hemorrohoid, polyp or other more serious medical condition.
