Hello,

Did you get an ultrsound done? What does the report say?

An unusually large uterus that is very painful can be due to a condition called adenomyosis.

None of the doctors will go into further testing. I actually went to the hospital last night and they passed it off as menstrual cramps. I am not a doctor but i did take a medical terminology class, and i don't feel this is right. after i had my first child my uterus was enlarged about a year later, they said it was because of the depo needle. it happened one other time, and know after my second child whom just turned 1 i have it again followed by these contracting pains. it felt almost like i was in labor again. my mom wondered if i was having a miscarriage, due to the marina (medicated iud) but no blood followed. now i have what seems to be my period but is a much darker red then it usually is. i am a little stund at how all these doctors are just pushing it aside and passing it off as "cramps". I am no longer experiencing these pains, but i am still worried and confused. My mom had been doing research to try and understand my problem and found OVARIAN or PRIMARY PERITONEAL CANCER, which have the same symptoms that i have been having. a
CA-125 BLOOD TEST can be done but i don't know how to ask for it to cancel it out. The "CLASSIC" symptoms are an ABDOMEN that rather SUDDENLY ENLARGES and
>CONSTIPATION and/or DIARRHEA. what do you think?
