I am a 41 year old white female, I have been having extreme stomach pain, chronic diarreah (possibly partly due from all the rolaids I take) been diagnosed with three gastric ulcers that have not healed and its going on five years now, the pain is more often, longer and getting unbearable, I have low red blood cell count/anemia and have gotten a transfusion once of two pints, two years ago... whether it was from the ulcers bleeding was never confirmed.. I just recently began to notice a sudden loss of vision, blurred vision, and had a temperature of 104 when I went to my pain management doctor this morning... and most troubling and confusing is over the past year or so, open sores just happen on various parts of my body and I don't know what causes them or how they get there, my breast are covered with sores, sometimes they scab over and then itch and I scratch and they become open sores, usually on my legs/back and now breast.. my husband is frustrated, we've been married 21 years and he feels I am not doing enough to take care of myself, but the doctors always just give me iron, and keep repeating the gastroscope procedures and just keep telling me its ulcers and giving me prilosec and such drugs... I feel I am going downhill and have something much worse and I've not went to the gastroenterologist now in over two years... what could cause fever, sores, diarreah, stomach pain and anemia? is there a common disease/one thing that comes to mind ? is this a symptom of cancer? my husband even fears aids, but I had an aids test before the transfusion, but he worries about the transfusion... any information would help me so much... thank you..
my medical history is epilepsy, spleen removed due to trauma, and gallbladder removed due to stones..
