I suspect Im having an e coli infection.

I suspect Im having an e coli infection. I have diharrea that is all water with bowel movements as often as 15 minutes apart. I already have it for 36 hours. My question is, being that it does not apppear to be abationg may I use imodium to slow it down or can that cause the virus to stay inside me longer?

Reply to CareBear's Post: I have not taken antibiotics in 6 weeks. Ive consumed probably half a gallon of water. I do not feel dehydrated , but im extremely weak from those bowel movements that are all liquid and continue for over a day non stop. I dont have the energy to make those bowel movements. Maybe it was caused by a tuna sandwich i ate in a restaruant thursday night.
