How do you treat COPD, My neice just had twins and had been fighting broncitis when going into labor, she had also had a lot of water retention. After she was releast to go home, she was having trouble breathing. She had x-rays, and was told she had water around her heart and lungs. She was readmitted to the hospital yesterday and now they are going to send her home, with no oxegon (sp) or air???? what should she be doing? She has been a smoker but not any more. I appreciate any help.
