Severe Sunburn

My son moved recently from mich. to florida. The first week he was there he developed a 2nd degree sunburn. After a couple of weeks later he started to develope white patches that have spread from his back to his chest and now onto his hairline. he's had this condition now for about 4 weeks,and is now complaining about not being able to hold any food down. he has been reluctant to seek medical help bec he hasn't any insurance. Can you tell me what this condition could be and where he can go in Sarasota,Fl. to seek medical help where he won't need insurance?

How long has he not been able to keep food down? Is this recent or did it start when the white patches started?

How old is he?
