My wife has a gull stone problem. Since she had our daughter in May. She started having problems 2 weeks after the baby was born. I have taken her to the ER 7 times. And all 7 times they have just given her medication for the pain. She had medicade while she was pregnate and 2 mths after. We tried to get a operation done. But nobody would touch her because medicade doesn't pay enought. Now she is without any insurance and is passing stones 2 to 5 times a week. We are a low income family and have no medical insurance. She is passing another stone as of right now and was just in the hospital on tuesday morning 9-26-06. The medicins they are giving her for at home don't work well enought and i must watch her suffer because of this. No one has offered even a payment plan for us. For a operation that takes 20 to 30 min's to preform, it really bothers me that doctors would rather turn a person away that is suffering so badly because they want more money then a person can afford. My wife is my life and i want the best for her. If there are any doctors out there that are more interested in a persons well being over the amount of maney they can make from a simple sergury. would you please help us. I have never asked for anything before in my life, But i am pleading with the medical field to help me in making my wifes life better..
