Question

I am a 33 year old male. About 4 days ago I my left foot started to hurt on the outside right under the ankle bone. I iced it and by the next day it was feeling better so I went back to my normal activities. It began to swell again and the following morning the other foot was swollen as well. Now both of my feet and ankles are red and huge. You can't even see my ankle bone and my toes look like little sausages. I was wondering if you think it may be serious because I don't have any medical coverage at the moment. I would appreciate any advice or opinion you may have.
Thank you,
Mr. Pontoon Feet

Good Afternoon, love your username, by the way!

It could be something serious such as blood clot or infection, and to be safe I would suggest a trip to the doctor. I understand you don't have insurance, but the rate in which the swelling occurred, the level of swelling you're having, and the fact that they are red is an indication that you need to see a doc--especially if that area is warm too.
