Hi-

Immediate care should be sought if the headache is extremely severe, or the worst headache of the person's life. Additionally, care should be sought if there are symptoms such as:

* Slurred speech,

* Numbness,

* Blurry vision,

* Difficulty walking or

* Prominent forehead veins.

Any other unusual symptoms along with the headache (e.g., projectile vomiting) warrants immediate care as well.

Sincerely,
Emily
