Question

Where can I get a flu vaccine for my son with sever ashma

My son has sever ashma and normal cold will send him to the ER everytime. Last year I was scheduled to get him a flu shot at the end of Nov, however mid November he go the flu and was in intensive care for a week.
His Doctor will not get the vaccine in until mid December and the clinics at my local drug stores on vaccinates adults. I have even tried to call PA Dept of Health and they cannot help me. I have tried the hospitals and they have no information.   Where else can I try????? My son is on the critical list for a flu shot, but I dont know where to go. Can you help?

I would suggest that you check with the Children's Hospital at the Hershey Medical Center.

Seeing as he has already been in their ICU several times, that was one of the first places that I tried. They have no idea when they are getting it in. They say it could be as late as the end of November. Also, seeing as I do not have a doctor there, they are not sure if they can give it to him. I just do not know where to turn?
