I am a 50 yr old. I have begun to see swollen ankles, pitting edema +1 to both feet.   When I climb 4 flight of stairs I'm easily winded, and dizzy. I walk every day but cannot jog since I lose my breath quickly, and have bladder incontinence.   Please tell me what the problem maybe that I'm experiencing.   Thanks

Since 1993 I have known that I pass protein in my urine and get a yearly 24hr urine test. I have a calcified granuloma in my leftlowerlobe and renal cyst. I am not on any medication. I do have stress incontinence my baby was 9lb9oz 26 yrs ago. No HTN,No DM No liver problems

Hello,

Swelling of the ankles due to loosing protein in the urine. Renal cyst may have something to do with this or you may have other kidney problems such as nephrotic syndrome.

Shortness of breath on exertion may be due to heart failure . It needs to be ruled out.

Please see a doctor for an evaluation.
