I am 42, when I was 7 I had Rhuematic Fever, When I was 29 I had Thyroid Cancer and did 3 rounds of Radio-active Iodine and then at age 40 I had a partial hystorectomy with extensive reconstructive surgery to my bladder. Now I am 42 and just had gallbladder surgery. I got my first blood clot. After being on all blood thinners I formed three more blood clots while on cumadin and plavix and shots. Now they have found a the lupus antibiody in my test. I have tested 2 positive out of 3 for Lupus SLE. But now they think it might be a blood platelet problem. What kind of doctor should I go to? I feel like I am 70 years olds and I am patiently waiting to get better. I have a sleeping disorder along with everything else. Have alot of pain but can not take any pain medications, darvisett, victoin,percicets,methedone or anything with aspirin. I break out with bullious sores and night fevers. I am a single female with no children. Can you assist me on some medical advice where to go?
