Your symptoms draw a picture of something similar to GERD - gastroenteral reflux disease. This should be checked by a gastroenterologist via gastroscope to make sure that you don't have a bacteria in your stomach causing this. Yes, stress does add to these symptoms.
Try some prilosec - over the counter. Take as directed on the package. Take it every day. If it doesn't go away by the time the package is finished, go to the gastroenterologist. If it does control the symptoms, you know we are headed in the right direction. Besides the medication, avoid drinking more than one cup of coffee a day, do not smoke, do not overeat, do not eat at least 2 hours before going to bed, increase the amount of water you drink and do not drink carbonated beverages.
