From your statement, it seems you are sufferring from both internal and external parasites. Pyrantel pamoate and pin x are meant for internal parasites and they would be completely ineffctive in the external parasites like fleas, ticks or mites.

To deal with external parasites, fumigation and other eradication procedures need to be taken. Also if you have mites which need to be confirmed by observation by a medical personnel, you would need specifc treatment for it which involves application of medication over the whole body . You would need antihistaminics like benadryl though benadryl alone is not going to help.

For internal parasites, there are a few things that need to be taken care of. It is difficult to get rid of internal parasites if constant reinfection keeps taking place. Reinfection takes place through infected hands, food and water Also if one has immunity suppressive disease like diabetes or hiv it would require medical supervision to get rid of the organism because a course of antiparasitic medication may be needed.

You also need to deworm pets if you have any. You can take a single dose of mebendazole 100 mg only once and this single dose needs to be repeated after 14 days. This is a broad spectrum antihelminthic and if you still get reinfected after this you need to do go for blood tests in consultation with a doctor. Hope this was helpful.

Thanks, but can you offer more info on treatments
for the internal and external parasites. I can
find little info on this situation and the
local doctors act as though this problem is
too rare. Thanks.
