Question

gallbladder surgery

Sent to Health Experts March 29, 2004 7:32 p.m.

I had my gallbladder removed and in the process my common bile duct was purified. I had a drain tube for just over a week. There was an average of 2cc of bile coming out every two days. Surgery was on March 1, 2004 and the drain was removed on March 10, 2004. Today is March 29, 2004. I get servere pains in my stomach. They come and go whenever they feel like it. Also, Everytime time I have a bowel movement I’m in a lot of pain (they are soft) and I feel like I’m going to puke. I also get this burning, stabbing pain below one of my incisions. Should I be concerned about any of this. To me it’s not normal for any pains or problems I’ve ever had. I do have IBS, but this is not the same.
Thank you L.T.
