My 38 year old sister started strattera about 6 months ago. Since that time her personality changed completely. She is displaying inappropriate behavior. She now seems very paranoid and has turned away (viciously) most of the people closest to her. She has experienced some traumatic life changing events this summer. It seems like she has has some kind of breakdown. Could the drug Strattera be the cause or at least contributing to her problem? If so, what can we do as her family to get her off that drug? She may not want to get off on her own if she believes it is helping her. I am frantic and heartbroken at the change in her. This is an urgent matter since she is spiraling downward quickly.
