Left groin pain

Sent to Health Experts May 13, 2004 9:07 a.m.

I am suffering from left groin pain for almost a year. Feels like a small "bunch" inside. It also is aggravated when I do exercises, and when I move my leg too far out or too far in. Xrays of hip, abdomen, CT w/dye of abdomen, exams by my reg. GP,a surgeon, an ortho., and ER physician. No hernia, not hip, "maybe" pinched nerve, but not likely, and pain is still there. If it has been there for a year, there has to be something in there causing it. It even "flutters" and/or throbs at times and there "has" to be something causing it. It’s not in my head. Surgeon and ortho. said not willing to open up to see what's there and nothing shows on any xrays or tests.

You are not alone. I have several patients who have pain that does not show up on test results. Your pain is real. When I have encountered these situatuions I have found relief with alternative practitioners such as osteopaths, chiropractors, or acupuncturists. Don't give up. I believe one of these can help you. Good Luck to you and I hope you find wellness soon.

Rejected nursehope's Post. Reason Given: I just didn't feel like it gave me enough information or assistance. Just basically telling me to try other types of doctors. If they can't pinpoint the pain, I will just be throwing money away.

The reason why I suggested these alternative practitioners is because they look at the body's structure and function in a very different way not relying on typical "western medicine" types of tests. Testing strength and sensation as well as structural alignment. Western medicine has failed you...try something different.
