I have had a ringing in my right ear for about a three years. One doctor said there's nothing that can be done. Another doctor wanted me to take one of those x-rays where you're put in this tube, but I'm closterfobix(is that how you spell it?) When I told him that, he acted as if there was nothing that could be done for me. I've had my ears cleaned professional, with no success in eliminating the ringing. Now both ears ring, the right being the loudest. Other than having the nerve cut, is there anything that can be done to stop the ringing? Sincerely, 'Half Deaf'

I would have the CT scan of your head to make sure you don't have a mass, or other serious condition. I have to wonder, do you have a diagnosis? Like Meniere's disease? What medications do you take? Tell me about your history so I can narrow it down for you!!
