my bloodtest showed that the ALT(SGPT) was261H and the AST(SGOT) was 129H how bad is it and what diet should i go on?

this propleme suposed to be in my liver to much enzyme what has this to do with the cholesterol, thats high to but my propleme suposed to be in the liver,hepatitis tests (4) all negative chole. was245 ldl 169

The liver metabolizes the fats in our bodies. That's why I brought up these diets.

Have you had a liver biopsy? This will tell you whether or not you have cirrhosis. This can happen without having hepatitis b or c. Hepatitis simply means inflammation of the liver. The type is sometimes harder to pin down.

Cirrhosis can also cause the high ALT.

In either case, your liver isn't functioning properly.

A low fat diet will possibly help.

i havent got a liver biopsy i just found out a couple of days ago havent seen the doctor she is sick thank yoy for your answer it helped me.now i just have figure out what to eat,because i love food a lot thank you kerry
