Question

i had my gall bladder emoved years ago sludge year ...

Sent to Health Experts January 01, 2006 1:04 a.m.

i had my gall bladder emoved 4 years ago - sludge. 1 year later had herniated scar tissue removed, within 6 months the same pain returned. This April will be 4 years since initital surgery, i still suffer from pain and discomfort. often pain is so unbearable i end up in er getting morphine. pain finally subsides and i go home with pain killers. i now never leave home without a painkiller and take probably between 350 mg and 1000mg of vicodin 3 days a week for pain management. i try not to take them at all but eventually have to. i experience frequent nausaea and dry heaves, and it's getting to be more frequesnt that my pain is crippling and i experience violent episodes of vomiting and diarrhea. i have had 4 cat scans, 3 endoscopes, 2
colonoscopies and 3 mri's. both with and without dye. all results come back showing nothing 'remarkable'. i have been told scar tissue may not show up on these tests, do you think that is what my problem is, or should i pursue further testing for something perhaps more severe?
