Vaginal burning and swelling associated with a yeast infection, what can be done. and is severe swelling normal?

You may have more than just a yeast infection. Only way to confirm this is to see your doctor. But if you are using OTC medication to treat this and it's not working you may need prescription strength. You may even be having an allergic reaction to the OTC medication as well. I would try some Benadryl just in case you are having an allergic reaction and also do make an appt to confirm if this is yeast related or something else.
