On Monday, January 30 I went to my PCP with possible flu symptoms. He prescribed Azithromycin 500MG, 1 tablet per day over three days. He also told me to take NyQuil for my symptoms. He suspected some pneumonia and the Azithromycin was for that. At 3pm I took an azithromycin tablet and a 30 ml (2 TBSP) of the NyQuil. By 6pm my lips, fingers and toes began to itch and shortly had rashes in those areas. I called the doctors office and they told me to stop taking NyQuil and take Benadryl instead and keep the lips moistened. My symptoms worsened with the lips swelling, cracking and bleeding. By Wednesday morning there was a new rash on my penis. They told me to put butter on the lips. Friday morning I went in so the doctor could SEE what was going on. He said it was a bad allergic reaction and he prescribed MethylPREDNISolone 4MG tablets. I began taking them at 12:00 noon and so far there has been no relief from the symptoms. I have been drinking plenty of water (about 48 oz per day) plus GATORADE.

What is happening to me?
