My husband had a regular physical recently and his blood work results indicated that his liver levels were elevated. The nurse told him to stop taking any form of tylenol or decongestant immediately, which he did, and that they would retest his liver in another month. He just had the second blood test on Friday and we received a call first thing Monday morning saying that his liver levels were even more elevated this time and that he should have an ultrasound on Thursday to check his liver. Naturally we fear the unknown because the doctor's office would not speculate what they may be looking for. Could you tell us anything that could cause his liver levels to spike?
