First of all, I am female, 61 years old, 5'4" and weigh 125lbs. I have not been ill in the past 10 years, not even a cold. Six weeks ago I had what I thought to be a Sinus Infection, which I just waited out, thinking it would just pass. After two weeks the drainage had stopped but it settled under my left breast, as Pluerisy. It was so painful, and still is, that I had to go to the doctor. The medicines that the Dr. has put me on in the past three wks are KETEX, PREDNISONE, and most recent NEXIUM. I have 2 of the NEXIUM left to finish. I am also on pain killers, which none of which have helped, they just make me sleepy. My pain of this past week is not only under my left breast but it feels like it is also behind it and to the left. It feels like I've broken my rib cage or have a boil or something. It does hurt more when I breathe in or raise my RIGHT arm. The Dr. did two chest x-rays and blood tests as follows: AMVIASE, BASIC METABOLIC PROFILE, CBC W/O DIFF, FERRETIN, H.PYLORI AB AND LIVER PROF, all of which came back normal. My question is: Where do I go from here?
