My husband was diagnosed with Prostatitis. The specialist did not perform any tests on him. He was placed on Cipro for 40 days and this was supposedly supposed to clear it up. It did not clear up. If he goes off of the Cipro for more than 48 hours, he cannot get out of bed. He has absolutely no strength. Can barely speak at times; hot flashes, frequent urination, burning urination with bleeding at times. Will he have to stay on Cipro for the rest of his life?( He has also taken Bactrum and several other antibiotics to treat this, however, Cipro is the only one that works.) Will his body adjust to the Cipro and the infection spread through his body and kill him?
