im 36 yrs old, 28wks into my pregancy,i've had 4 c-sections last one in 1998.my fiance he has end stage liver disease,cirrhosis of the liver and is taking pegasys 180mcg, and ribavirin 200mg cap for treatment. This is his 7th wk. with the medicine. I got pregant before he started treatment, since hes been on pegasys/ribavirin we have had intercourse without any protection and continue to have sex .On the medication guide for ribavirin it states that prior to,during,and 6mo.after taking ribavirin do not have sex unless you use 2forms of protection..the fetus can be retarded or deformed.What tests can i have done,to see if the fetus is retarded or deformed. if deformed,complications i want to abort fetus. please help,need answers, i need to know tests i can have?
