Long Term Effects of 13 year old taking 3 pshchotic meds

Sent to Health Experts February 25 09:11 AM

My son is 13 and diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. He is currently in a medical facility and due to come home on Monday. The doctor ordered that he be put on a low dose of Quantidine along with the 10 mg of Lexipro (1 time a day) and 250 mg of Depakote (twice a day). My husband and I are unsure of adding this medication for him to take knowing it will lower his blood pressure. His question is what long term affects can it have on my son? Circulatroy and other?

I may have the Quatidine spelled wrong. It is an old bloodpressure medication. My husband isworried about long term effects with the circulatory system and will it cause problems with his heart or other organs later in life.
