You should not suddenly stop taking CYMBALTA cold turkey, as this may cause withdrawal symptoms such as
- dizziness,
- nausea,
- insomnia,
- headache,
- and anxiety.
Withdrawal symptoms are temporary and are not the same as addiction. They can usually be avoided by stopping the medicine gradually, usually over at least two weeks.
If you have already tried tapering it and suffered even after stopping with due diligence of two weeks, then probably an even slower tapering 10-20 % of the dose weekly (tapering over 5-6 weeks) should be tried.
Please remember to follow the instructions given by your doctor when it is time to stop treatment with this medicine. Please remember to accept the reply if you find it useful. A BONUS and a positive rating would be duly appreciated,
