My son is 13 and has ulcerative colitis. He is takine imuran, asacol and zantac, in the last couple of months he has started to lose hair. Is this related to the medication, he has not had this problem since being diagnosed two years ago. Is there any help for this?

Hair loss is one of the side effect of Imuran.Please call the health care provider who prescribed this medication for your son and discuss with her or him if anything can be done about it like changing to another medication.
