How long will it take for xanax to leave my system ?

How long will it take for xanax to leave my system ? I had used it for years, and did titrate down to .5mg/daily. this is day 2 without xanax and i am having some trouble,
but i am ready to have it all the way out.

How long before i start to feel better? also, is there anything I could do that will help me not feel so bad during this time?
