I am currently on ditropan because I leak urine and if I didn't take it the leakage is very bad. I believe that my muscle under my bladder is releasing when not necessary. Such as when I cough, lift, laugh, etc. But I did do some research on line and I have just found out that certain medications can cause your muscle to be so relaxed, you may leak urine. I am also on zoloft and abilify for depression. Those medications work so well in that area, its like I am not even taking it. Perhaps one of those medications are causing a side effect of this. Should I talk to my doctor about switching the medications to something eles or perhaps they would work in the same matter. My urologist did mention a surgery he can give me but he is afraid I might have to give myself catheters. And he says I am too young for that.
