Burning Skin Pain
Sent to Health Experts April 17 11:42 PM

I have had some awful symptoms for the past 4 years, off and on. I have seen many drs. and have received no answers. I have burning sensations on my skin. Sometimes just my face - sometimes my entire body. My skin feels raw at times (very often). I also feel bruised all over quite often. If my son sets on my lap or touches my upper arms or legs the wrong way, it hurst like crazy (as if they are bruised).

I also get "rug burn" sensations on my arms and legs - but, usually around my knees and arms. The burning can be very very painful. There is no redness or rash.... nothing visible whatsoever!

I am at a loss. I will say that Zoloft (in the past) has alleivated my symptoms but, I am still on it and I am having the symptoms again. I thought it was just from stress/anxiety but, since I have had the burning back for over a month now, I feel there is really something wrong.

I have had 2 brain MRIs, one c-spine MRI, EMGs (arms and legs), and lots of blood work. Everything shoes to be normal.

Also, my hands are VERY sensitive to heat.... hot water, a hot piece of toast, a hot cup of coffee... these things used to not bother me!

Please can anyone suggest what this sounds like symptoms of???

Thank you SO much!!
