I am very ill, I have been unable to work since 2004. I take a laundry list of medications as follows: Diltiazam for atrial fibrilation, Ibersartin for BP, Precose, Glyberide and Metformin for diabetes, levothyroxin for low thyroid, aspirin, nitroglycerin for unstable angina, foresemide for water retention, neurontin 1200 mg, QID.... I have two hernias that the VA wont repair because of the diabetes. I am confined to bed about 18 hours a day with feet elevated over my head due to leg swelling. Avandia that I was on for five months caused a huge weight gain to 305 lbs, my left knee no longer supports my weight and collapses. Between the extra weight gain and the drugs I am on I fall nearly everyday, sometimes on the stairs, sometimes in open floor. I can not drive half the time because I am too dizzy. I also have a grey fog before my eyes. The VA will not certify me disabled. I have no income or ability to work. Where can I go to get outside documentation for either Veterans Disability or SSI? I have no money or insurance which complicates it and I live in Kansas.
