I have a fiboid in the wall of my uterus, the bleeding during my menstral cycle was excessive with large clots. Now since I have been on PCP"S-(Triphasal), the bleeding is really no different just controlled within a schedule week. I have given it 3 months on the pill but no difference. I have also since being on the pill developed 2 separate
yeast infections( I know this is a side effect of PCP'S). My dr has only given me 2 other options1) Hysterectomy-don'y want to do this just to remove a fibroid 2)IUD with progeterone-I have researched this and the possible side effect of lq amts of wt gain is not appealing since this is not as easily removed without extra expense. Is there another procedure less invassisve that is more reliable to fix the problem?
