hello, I have a question for you this evening. I have been with a man for about 4 months we have been having sex, and using a condom. about 10 days ago we were together and we did not use one , angain we were together 5 days ago and did not use one. Tonight he showed me his penis and he has had three small blisters spots come up. I am so scared. I need to know what to do. I have not been with anyone else nor he. Can this be from a yeast infection, or is it more serious. Help!!! should I go and get checked out. I do not have any symptons of any kind.

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Sometimes, just from frequent sex, the penis can get chaffed. Sometimes you have a different environment vaginally than his penis can tolerate so yes it could most likely be a yeast infection. Try getting an anti-fungal medication (Monistat or something like that) and apply it to the spots 2-3 times a day. I would wait and see if in a few days it goes away or gets drastically better. If it doesn't, I would get it checked. Sometimes it could be just benign little lesions but its always better to be safe than sorr! I would recommend using a condom until things clear up so you aren't passing this back and forth. That way it will be able to be isolated as what is causing it and what helps it go away. Hope this helps!
