i have a presisant cough with a whizzing sound and i cannot breathe deep without coughing iam always tired i recently had surgery for the artery blockage in my neck i m 53 the cough is what bothers me not the surgery part

My advice is to go for following tests

1.Lung Function Tests

Peak flow measurements , Eosinophil count

Chest X-ray

There are two types Of medcines one is preventer medicine and other is reliever medicines.Preventer medicines have to be be taken for long period like months to years while Reliever medicines have to be taken whn attack aggrevates
