For a bladder infection you would need to see your doctor for antibiotics, as this is the only thing that will clear it up. In the meantime drink plenty of fluids including
cranberry juice. There is also an over the counter medication called
AZO which can be used for any pain you may be having, but this can only
be used for a maximum of two days. Urinate frequently and completely to
empty your bladder each time. Avoid soda, coffee, alcohol- anything
containing citrus juices or caffeeine until the infection has cleared.
Avoid any type of feminine products like sprays as they may irritate
your urethra. If you are sexually active urinate after every encounter,
and make sure you wipe from front to back. Also cleanse the area before
sex.
