Hello and Welcome to Just Answer

I am going to have to ask you some questions in order to answer your question sufficiently.

1) How long ago was your last surgery?

2) When was the wound vac taken out?

3) How did the wound break open, did you hit it on something? Or is it red and swollen which caused it to open? I just need an idea of how it was opened back up?

4) How long ago did you finish your antibiotics? and are you on any kind of medications at this time?

5) Did they do a culture to determine that you had MRSA?

6) After the round of antibiotics did they do another culture? What was the result?

7) Can you describe the wound? Color of the wound? Any drainage? If so, what color? Any swelling?

8) When was the last time you had debridement? And has it been healed up since then?

Sorry for all the questions, but I need to get some more answers so I can answer your question sufficiently.

Thank you,
Pam Russell RN
