Import Drugs

I was recently diagnosed with Hypothyroidisim, and found tha the cheapest way to get my Synthroid was to order it from a Pharmacy in India. My order was filled and shipped without a hitch until several weeks later, I recieved a letter from the U.S. government saying that my order was detained by customs because it was illegal or something. They simply held on to my drugs and that was the end of it. Never heard from em again.

Now, my question to you guys is that If I were to try this again, what are the chances that my stuff would again be intercepted, and If so, would there be an legal consequences (like a fine or something stupid). I realize the chances are remote, but when I get letters from the government saying I've done something illegal, it makes me a little nervous. Look forward to your response!

If you have gotten letters in ref: to this then I assure you that your flagged and on the list of watched. I would not continue to buy overseas drugs or meds after being notified of it.
