My Father (86 years of age) developed a non-itchy

Sent to Health Experts July 29, 2006 7:10 p.m.

My Father (88 years of age) developed a non-itchy rash on his body 6 weeks ago. During the last week he has developed small lumps on his head and face. He has no fever and the blood tests have all come back clear. some of the rash was biopsied several weeks ago and came back with some abnormal cells. His dermatologist prescribed prednisone to see if it would clear up the rash - it has faded somewhat, but is still there. It had looked like an allergy to some medication, but another Dermatolgist said that it didn't look like an allergic rash. Could you perhaps direct me to a site, or articles that might give me an idea of what we should be considering? Thanks,

i suggest you get further investigation into the problem by getting a allergy test, that away they can test out up to 40 to 60 allergy producing agents, it may have even been food related or yes medication related have you looked at the side effects of his drugs? What has he been eating? Think over these possibilities.
