My wife started feeling sick after taking a walk in a park.
Sent to Health Experts July 29 09:56 PM

My wife started feeling sick after taking a walk in a park. We walked for about half an hour. She started feeling nausea and then has been throwing up for about an hour. She still feels nausea and sick. Her stomach is upset and she has the chills and is shakey. She is 27 years old and is in good health. She is not on any medication. Do you know what it could be or any help.
Thank You
Frank

If she was overheated during the walk then that is probably what is affecting her now. She is likely getting over a case of heat exhaustion. Give her some Tylenol and have her rest and see how she feels in the morning. She also needs to rehydrate her body with Gatorade or water, at least 1 glass per hour that she is awake or 8-12 glasses a day. If she vomits continously throughtout the night or if she can't hold food or liquids down then she needs to see a doctor for treatment with antivomiting medication and possibly IV fluids.
