For about three weeks, I have had "spots" of pain ...

For about three weeks, I have had "spots" of pain on the left side of my head, at my left temple and above my left eyebrow. The pain becomes worse if I take asprin.There is a pressure with this headache, occassional stabbing feeling and soreness like bruising. I am 55 years old, female.

I do have nasal congestion, but nothing comes out when I blow. I have been using a saline nasal spray, Mucinex and otc antihistamine. Cannot use decongestant as they raise bp. Have distinct lumps on my head!

ACCEPTED

This can be the sign of a sinus infection causing these symptoms as well but if you have distinct lumps on your head as well you should be seen as soon as possible by a neurologist or internal medicine specialist as this can be the sign of possible serious underlying illness. I feel this is related to a sinus infection and antbiotics are actually needed to clear this up and at the same time you can have them examine the lumps.
