Craig,

Glad that you contacted Justaswers.com to help you sort all this out.

First several factors can affect penile sensitivity including diminished levels of the hormone testosterone, neurological damage, diabetic conditions and psychological anxiety and masturbating excessively desensitizing the penis.

Aside from those items mentioned above, medications surely can have an impact on penal sensitivity. It sounds like your physician's have done some investigations in this area.

I would suggest that you see a specialist if you haven't already, called a urologist. He can do what is called a "reflex test" which determines nerve function in the penis. The results of this test may point you in the proper direction for resolution of this problem.

I HAVE BEEN TO A UROLOGIST AND HAVE DONE THE REFLEX TEST AND IT SHOWED SOME REFLEX BUT WAS NOT 100%...THERE IS NO REASON FOR THE NERVE TO BE DAMAGED AND THIS HAPPENED OVER A PERIOD OF WEEKS NOT YEARS WHICH IS VERY STRANGE...THE UROLOGIST SAID HE THOUGHT IT WAS MENTAL...i KNOW YOU DO NOT KNOW ME BUT I CAN ASSURE YOU IT IS NOT MENTAL...IF IT IS I WOULD BE HAPPY JUST TO REALLY KNOW WHAT HAPPENED...I DID HAVE A VERY BAD ANXIETY ATTACKS BUT THANK GOD THOSE ARE GONE.
